For #2 yes exactly. We currently charge $3/mo for membership in our publication. Medium begins a commission of 20% when we reach 500 members. At 499 members we will gross $1,497, at 500 members that number becomes $1,200. Those numbers aren’t exactly accurate because most of our members are locked in to $2 per month from before we raised our price. In fact, Medium should probably take their commission from member #1. But they wait til 500? I don’t know of any pub that has 500 members. I guess they just don’t like money.
